MEDTEC Europe 2018

From April 17 – 19, 2018, the Medtec Europe Expo took place in Stuttgart, Germany. For the first time, Kunststoff Helmbrechts AG had a booth at this exhibition and presented the entire range of manufacturing technology as well as products that are manufactured by KH for the medical industry. This includes e.g. housings for medical devices, hearing aids and sterile single-use products for invasive usage.

We were pleased with both the substantial attention and interesting discussions at our booth. Besides the conventional manufacturing technologies, the visitors showed interest in the In-mold Labeling technology for medical devices. The distinct advantages of this technology are:

• Smooth surface for an effective and efficient cleaning
• Selective displaying of symbols to maximize usability and avoid operating errors
• Integration of functional surfaces (e.g. antimicrobial surface).
